This notice explains how PLM Trading handles personal data in connection with this website. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022 of Sri Lanka, as amended.
Who we are
PLM Trading, of 84/2 Biyagama Road, Pattiwila, Sri Lanka, is responsible for personal data processed through this website. Our contact details are listed on the home page.
What this website collects
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not ask you to create an account. The ‘Request a quote’ panel on the home page does not store or send anything: it only prepares a message in your own WhatsApp or email app, and nothing reaches us unless you send it from there.
This website does not set cookies. If you choose ‘Allow’ in the cookie banner, your language and theme choices are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device. If you choose ‘Decline’, they are kept only until you close the browser tab. Your answer itself is saved on your device so that you are not asked again on every page. None of this is sent to us. You can change your answer at any time with ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page, or delete it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
As with all websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure.
When you contact us
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use your name, contact details and message only to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any business that follows from it.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Our hosting and communication service providers may process data on our behalf, and some of them may do so outside Sri Lanka. Where this happens, we take the steps required by applicable law to protect that data.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to respond to you, to do business with you and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
Security
This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and uses security settings that restrict what the page can load and run.

You may contact us to ask what personal data we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond as required by applicable law.
